These files contain amateur, non-profit works. No infringement is intended, or should be inferred, by certain of these works on copyrights held by the British Broadcasting Corporation, Paramount Pictures, Fox, the literary heirs of Don Marquis, or any owner of any copyrighted property saluted here. No renumeration has been received for these works, nor property owners' prerogatives or market superceded; no cause for legal action exists. Insofar as is compatible with said copyrights held, these works are mine. These works may be reproduced electronically or in print only with 1) proper authorship credit 2) where applicable, copyright disclaimer to other property owners as in this paragraph 3) permission from the author (Which is easily secured; you only have to ask. I write to be read.). Downloading for private use is encouraged.
The purpose of copyright law was never to deny the members of society use of characters which have become its icons, nor to line the pockets of creators' blood or corporate heirs. The purpose of copyright law was to to encourage creation of new works by ensuring creators themselves ownership of their own actual works. When copyright law does more than this it is unjust, unfair and dangerously at odds with its purpose.
