| This one appears in the archive twice because the last panel is set much later. The time-traveler in the last panel is the 1960s movie version of the Doctor, an Earthman actually surnamed Who. Who is not the name of the Gallifreyan time-traveler, which remains unknown. But that didn't stop the computer villain of a 1966 DOCTOR WHO tv serial from referring to the Doctor as "Doctor Who". Here's my explanation as to how that came to be. |
