| I really was once told that the reason there's nothing about reincarnation in the Gospels is that the Nicenes cut it out. I repeat it frequently enough that I'm sometimes asked to cite a source, so years later I asked the person who'd said it to me and he didn't remember anything about it. I still believe it's true, but I can't cite a source. |
