The common premise of these comic strips and stories, fanfiction-based or "original", is that the King Arthur legends are translated into space opera. King Arthur prefers taking the Round Table flagship Excalibur out for exploration to ruling the planets of British space. Sir Lancelot is his science officer and Queen Guenevere is ship's doctor. Merlin is a wandering time traveler in a time machine called a CAVE, which at his death is inherited by his apprentice and lover Nimue. Recurring villains include the Saxons who constantly try to invade British space, the Gaelic kings of Britain who are technically Arthur's vassals (three of whom are his brothers-in-law), the alien Dragons, and the sorceress Morgan le Fey who is Arthur's half-sister and Merlin's onetime apprentice.

While the stories below are, perhaps obviously, fanfiction with the names changed to protect the archetypes, they are also the basis for projects intended to lead to saleable works, which in turn influence the comic strips here.

Daily Comic Strips

First, there are thumbnail portraits of King Arthur in Time and Space characters as a visual aid. There are several lineups from different times in Arthur's twenty-five year reign, intended to help the reader identify by sight approximately when in the characters' history(ies) each cartoon below is set. Then there's a lineup of thumbnails showing much the same crosssection of portraits in my triangle caricature style.

There's a calendar index chronological archive of all active Dailies.

These stories are listed in chronological order here, and in a timeline of the imaginary King Arthur in Time and Space screen canon: notes on those events you'd reasonably be expected to be familiar with if King Arthur in Time and Space were a real screen series of which you were a fan and of which these stories were fanfiction. For a much briefer summary, which however includes spoilers for the stories here, see Previously.
